Dunnae Highland Tomato Festival Best-Seller — 'Hoengseong Kkamnol' Tomato Juice!

The 'Hoengseong Kkamnol' Tomato Juice, unveiled for the first time at the 14th Dunnae Highland Tomato Festival held in Hoengseong, Gangwon Province from August 14–16, 2025, sold out every single day throughout the festival and drew an enthusiastic response.

'Hoengseong Kkamnol' Tomato Juice was created through a collaboration between the Hoengseong-gun Agricultural Technology Center and NextBio Co., Ltd., planned with the goal of adding high value to local specialty produce.

Made with premium tomatoes grown in the high-altitude Hoengseong highlands where the day-to-night temperature gap is large, the juice features firm flesh and high sweetness. By grinding the whole tomato — skin and seeds included — it captures the produce's original flavor along with antioxidant nutrients such as lycopene and vitamins A and C, as well as dietary fiber.

In addition, the non-thermal HPP (High Pressure Processing) method was applied to maintain fresh taste and nutrition without heat loss while strengthening food safety. A golden ratio of 95% Hoengseong tomatoes and 5% apple concentrate delivers a smooth, natural sweetness without any added sugar.
